Some sales advise

Just using coloured ribbons is not always the best idea.

Many florists have the opinion that the topic "wrapping paper" is of no interest to them. Statements like "we always did it this way" are often used - and indeed many inovations regarding flower wrapping are hardly to be found.

Still the traditional flower wrapping paper if used correctly protects the cut flowers from breaking or snapping. Furthermore the wrapping prevents the customer from getting in contact e.g. with pollen or humidity. In short as a means of transport packaging wrapping paper is still necessary and usefull.

Today this is no longer sufficent. As most of the flowers are bought as a present in order to make someone happy, the requirements for the wrapping itself are therefore higher. Not only have the flowers to be protected but also have the look and the design of the wrapping paper to underline the character of a valuable present.

Thus you might want to look around and see how your competitors wrap the flowers. With an individual wrapping paper you easily can differentiate yourself from your competitors and can underline the image and reputation of your business. You also could use ribbons to enhance the look of a flower bouquet but if erveryone else utilize ribbons do not use them. Avoid everything that looks like standard wrapping. Be individual - seek uniquness.

Two thirds of all sold bouquets are used as presents

Presents should be wrapped exclusively and not anonymously. What could draw more attention to a skillfully created flower bouquet than a tastful and precious wrapping? Quite often mistakes are made here: non-printed or simple wrapping paper is used. In order to avoid these mistakes Goerges has invented an ample variety of exclusivly looking patterns and designs - of course all available with the clima-effective ergoplus hotmelt coating.
